Information handled

Depending on how you use Common Concept, the service handles:

Why and with whom information is processed

The service uses this information to create and secure accounts, provide Profiles and learning features, store and deliver user content, answer requests, provide selected model and web-retrieval tools, operate billing, respond to support/privacy/copyright reports, and maintain the service.

Categories of recipients and service providers include:

Publishing and sharing

When you publish a Patch or otherwise share content publicly, other people may access the published material. The Hub's release model separates user-scoped learning observations and preferences from a published release, but your authored text or attachments may still contain personal information. Do not publish information you do not want to make public.

Review, correction and privacy requests

Some account names, Profile information and settings can be reviewed or changed in the Application. For privacy questions or requests concerning other information, contact support@mmon.co.

Cookies, browser storage and tracking choices

The Application uses authentication cookies and cookies for appearance/edition preferences. It also stores some unsent drafts and interface preferences in browser local storage.

Source and adaptation notice

These drafts adapt the archived Basecamp policy templates at basecamp/policies, commit 05fb1f9ddaaf604fc5816990fa66f3ffd7f0a462: Terms, Privacy, Use Restrictions and Copyright Claims. The repository licenses those templates under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). The English text has been rewritten for this service and the Chinese text is a translation/adaptation; both changes are indicated here. The templates' promises and jurisdiction-specific facts were not carried over as facts about mmon Co. In particular, statutory copyright notice and counter-notice fields below follow 17 U.S.C. §512, not the template's erroneous alternative counter-notice contacts or district. The template license does not license Patches or determine their reuse rights.
